Ultrasound
At Oakhill we have a new, state-of-the-art ultrasound scanner. The machine enables us to obtain excellent images of horses' abdomens, which is extremely useful in investigating medical problems involving the intestines, liver or kidneys for example.
The machine is also excellent for imaging the tendons and ligaments in a horse's limb in orthopaedic conditions, helping us to obtain extremely detailed images and make accurate assessments of soft tissue injuries.
